Alissa is a Family law specialist who has established a flourishing practice, with over 20 years' experience.
She has a well-deserved reputation for competent and compassionate handling of clients who are vulnerable, having extensive experience in dealing with those suffering low cognitive functioning or from mental health issues, having also had experience in representing clients in Mental Health Tribunals. She has a calm but authoritative manner which enables clients to feel confident in her handling of their case.
Predominantly representing parents, but also for children via their Guardian, Alissa has experience in dealing with cases that involve allegations of sexual assault, non-accidental injury and chronic neglect.
Alissa is experienced in cases which involve and parental alienation, coercive control as well as general child arrangements.
In addition, Alissa is a visiting Lecturer at The Law School, City University, London. Lecturing in Opinion Writing, Professional Ethics, Evidence and Conferencing.
