Scott Sharp

Scott is Sussex born and raised, however has undertaken considerable travelling during his pursuit of a career at the Bar. Scott returned to Sussex four years ago and joins Westgate Chambers to undertake his pupillage.

Prior to pupillage Scott’s previous role was as a Litigation Executive for a Personal Injury firm based out of Aldershot, Surrey. Within his role Scott was responsible for the day-to-day management of a high case load of Employers Liability, Public Liability, and Road Traffic Accident claims, of both Fast Track and Multi-track value, the majority of which were complex disputed claims. Scott would manage these cases often from start to finish, including litigation when required. As part of this, Scott would regularly draft; court documents inclusive of particulars of claim, applications, and witness statement to the court amongst others. In addition, Scott would undertake advocacy on matters including interim applications, directions hearings and infant approval hearings. Scott also supported his previous firm by assisting with the devising and implementation of practice procedures, and training.
