Recently Head of Chambers, Richard Barton, was invited to be a guest interviewer before a large audience at the Lewes Speakers Festival.

His first interview was with former Judge of the Central Criminal Court Wendy Joseph KC. Their discussion, based upon Judge Joseph’s new book, Rough Justice, ranged over the current problems with the Criminal Justice System, comparing them to how the system operated in previous times. After the interview, Judge Joseph and Richard fielded questions from the audience.

He went on to interview Lucia Osborne-Crowley about her experience as one of only four journalists allowed in the courtroom for the whole of the Ghislaine Maxwell trial.
