- You can apply to join us with a 2:2 or above. Â However, in this competitive market, take time to think about what makes you stand-out from our other applicants and tell us what this is.
- You don’t have to have completed a mini-pupillage with us. Â
- Be ready to tell us what you know about Westgate Chambers. Have you met us elsewhere?  Have you read up on our work and our cases?  Have you had feedback or recommendation from people who know us?
- We love law but we also know the people involved in the law are more important.  We’re want to know about you. Are you involved in clubs? What are your extra-curricular activities?  What are you passionate about?  How do you make a difference to wider world?
- Tell us about your skills but don’t overdo it.  Time and space is tight so please don’t provide an endless list, just choose your 3 top skills and explain why these would benefit Westgate Chambers.
- We always check applications to make sure they haven’t been created by AI so make sure your words are your own. As we’ve said, we want to find the right people for Westgate Chambers.Â
