Catharine’s financial remedy experience incorporates dealing with high net worth assets, overseas properties, cryptocurrency, and financial analysis of cases involving disclosed and undisclosed assets and pensions. Catharine is a qualified mediator, this informs her calm approach to settling matters between parties.
Child Arrangements
Catharine undertakes private law matters, including contact and residence disputes, domestic and international relocation cases. Catharine has a unique background dealing with elements of domestic abuse, parental alienation and human trafficking.

Catharine deals with the complex area of TOLATA, including initial conferences before issuing, drafting offers, and has experience in dealing with both part 7 and part 8 proceedings.

Catharine also deals with landlord and tenant claims, mortgage possession, fast-track and multi-track cases. Her experience in the civil sector dates back to her role as a county court advocate, at the time specialising in this sector of work.

In her spare time, she delivers sessions at The Honourable Society of Middle Temple, including advocacy training, presenting skills, courtroom etiquette, and client management. She often judges debate competitions and plays a large role in assisting the future junior Bar. She continues to deliver lectures to students, as well as providing seminars and training to solicitors on the ever-changing landscape of family law.
She has also submitted a dissertation to Parliament to assist with the Domestic Abuse Bill, specifically Clause 44, as it then was. Her research dealt with domestic abuse, judicial training and the current problems in the family court surrounding issues when dealing with domestic abuse in family cases.
