Harriet Bennett joined Chambers as a tenant in 2025, having successfully completed pupillage under the supervision of Dale Sullivan, Gareth Burrows and Greg Johnson.
Harriet specialises in criminal law and undertakes both prosecution and defence work.
Harriet has also recently appeared in the Court of Appeal, having successfully been granted leave to appeal sentence by the single judge.
Before pupillage, Harriet worked as a Crown Court Clerk and has experience clerking trials, sentences and other administrative hearings involving some of the most serious criminal cases.”
In her free time, Harriet enjoys staying active by attending the gym and running. Harriet is currently training for the Brighton Marathon in 2025 and is raising money for a knife crime charity
