Trina Little and Ayisha Robertson, barristers in our Family Law Team, were invited to join Tara Sanger and Robyn Smith from Kay & Pascoe LLP as their guests on October’s edition of The Breakup Breakdown Podcast.

In this episode of the popular and informative series, Trina and Ayisha helped the hosts answer some of the questions raised on Kay & Pascoe’s social media platforms that had led to child arrangement and financial remedy enquiries.

During the information packed episode, the panel discussed enquiries including Contact with children (and that the focus must remain on a child’s welfare), the court process, Non-Court Dispute Resolution, Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders and Relocation.

With regards to Financial Remedy, the episode touches upon disclosure of documents and information, what can happen if parties withhold information, separation length and the impact that may have on any pensions and ‘gifts’ and hidden assets.

The panel appreciate, as all family practitioners do, that regardless of your dispute, the prospect of going to court to determine the outcome of your case can be incredibly daunting, especially with the current court delays meaning that the case could take longer to reach a conclusion.
