Family Law Week’s Financial Remedy Conference: Practice and Procedure 11 March 2025

Trina Little was invited to join an expert panel for the debate at Family Law Week’s Financial Remedies Conference 2025, which took place on Tuesday 11 March at the Cavendish Conference Centre, London.

The Conference was dedicated to the latest developments, challenges, and innovations in the field of financial remedies law. It brought together leading experts to explore the complexities of finance and divorce law.

The Conference was led by FLW’s Editor-in-Chief, HH Stephen Wildblood KC, Managing Editor Mani Singh Basi and our Deputy Senior Clerk, Stuart Taylor-Jones who also serves as FLW’s Marketing and Podcast Editor.

The Conference hosted talks from Sir Nicholas Cusworth KC, Alexander Chandler KC, Alexander Thorpe KC & Roxanne King, Anita Mehta, Alexander Laing and Greg Williams as well as Simon O’Connell (Evelyn Partners)

The Conference Debate, ‘The Law Commission is right – our Financial Remedy Law is outmoded and needs fundamental change’ was chaired by HH Stephen Wildblood KC, which discussed The Law Commission’s recent musings on how the law for separation and dissolution is outmoded and is ripe for reform. The panel was made up of, Trina Little, Georgina Hamblin and Victoria Clarke, who were joined by Imogen Robins (for) and Rebecca Davies (against).
