Care Proceedings

John is regularly instructed across all areas of public proceedings in cases involving non-accidental Injuries, chronic neglect, substance abuse, and domestic abuse. He has a particular interest in representing parents wishing to care for their child(ren) but face concerns from the local authority. John also has experience of successfully representing grandparents and other extended family members to challenge negative special guardianship assessments.

Private Law and Child Arrangements

John is instructed in a range of Private Law disputes. He often deals with cases involving alleged parental alienation and allegations of domestic abuse. John has recent experience of successfully representing clients involved in applications for Child arrangements orders and Prohibited steps orders.

Financial Remedies

John has experience in advising and representing clients in Financial Remedy matters concerning the division of marital assets.
