Scott Sharp

Scott is Sussex born and raised.  However, he has undertaken considerable travelling during his pursuit of a career at the Bar before returning to Sussex four years ago to join Westgate Chambers to undertake his pupillage.

Prior to pupillage Scott’s previous role was as a Litigation Executive for a Personal Injury firm based out of Aldershot, Surrey.

Within this role Scott was responsible for the day-to-day management of a high case load of Employers Liability, Public Liability, and Road Traffic Accident claims, of both fast-track and multi-track value, the majority of which were complex disputed claims.

Scott would manage these cases often from start to finish, including litigation when required.  This involved Scott regularly drafting court documents including the particulars of the claim, applications, and witness statements.  Scott would also undertake advocacy on matters including interim applications, directions hearings and infant approval hearings.

Scott also supported his previous firm by assisting with the devising and implementation of practice procedures and training.
