Caroline Harris of 1KBW joins Westgate Chambers as a door tenant for her criminal practice.

Caroline is 2004 call and has been practicing crime throughout her career, primarily acting for the defence. Caroline has experience at all levels up to and including the Court of Appeal.

Caroline brings enormous expertise in a broad range of criminal matters including representing clients charged with the most serious matters including murder and serious sexual offences.  Her practice also covers fraud, offences against the person and road traffic offences (including death by dangerous and death by careless driving).

In addition to conducting matters alone, Caroline has experience of acting as a led junior in complex and multi-handed cases and has frequently represented professional clients, including police officers, in disciplinary hearings.

Caroline also co-authored the book entitled Vulnerable Witness within Family and Criminal Proceedings.
