Paul has over 20 years’ experience as a clerk. During his time with Chambers, he has gained an in-depth knowledge of each member’s practice and the understanding of client’s needs for specific Counsel for individual cases.
Paul joined chambers in 2004 after leaving his previous clerking position at a commercial chambers at Twenty Essex in London. Upon leaving chambers Paul re-joined in 2016 where he had previously been the civil & public law team leader at 1 Pump Court in the Temple.
Paul is responsible for the management of the Crime and Civil teams’ diaries, along with assisting Adam with the Family team diary. Paul’s responsibilities extend to the day-to-day overall assignment of cases and agreeing fees.
Paul also works closely with the Senior and Deputy Senior Clerks, to assist with practice development.
During his time at Chambers, Paul is known for being friendly, approachable and is many clients ‘go-to’ clerk due to the high level of service that he provides.
