We are very proud to announce that our Head of Family Maria Hancock has been shortlisted for Barrister of the Year 2024 at Today’s Family Lawyer‘s British Family Law Awards 2024.

The British Family Law Awards brings the very best of the family law community together to recognise and celebrate the incredible work and excellence of lawyers who work tirelessly to promote and provide access to justice for so many.

Maria’s election to the shortlist for Barrister of the Year is recognition for the excellent reputation she has earned across a range of complex Family Law areas including Care Proceedings (particularly those involving the death of infants and children, allegations of serious NAI, FII/Perplexing Presentation and severe emotional harm and neglect), Children’s Arbitration (Maria is an accredited and experienced Children Arbitrator), Inquests and Private Law/Child Arrangements.

The British Family Law Awards will be held at the Harbour Hotel Bristol on Thursday, 25 January 2024 and we have every confidence that Maria will emerge victorious.  However, it won’t be easy as she faces very stiff competition from Venters Solicitors, 4PB and 42BR Barristers.
