Westgate Chambers are delighted to announce the addition of Elissa Da Costa-Waldman MCIArb as a Door Tenant. Elissa, who is also a tenant at New Court Chambers, London, brings with her a wealth of experience and expertise.

Since her call to the Bar in 1990, Elissa has distinguished herself as a practitioner in Financial Remedies, TOLATA, and Child Arrangements. With a penchant for creative problem-solving, she approaches client matters with innovation and insight, particularly in navigating financial issues surrounding divorce. Additionally, Elissa is trained by the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA), showcasing her skills as a principled negotiator and an effective advocate.

In the area of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Elissa is a seasoned Mediator, having obtained her qualification in 2003. She is also a qualified Collaborative Lawyer and holds accreditation as a Family Law Arbitrator (Finance) with over a decade of experience. Notably, she is one of only two Financial Remedy Arbitrators practicing from a Chambers in Sussex.
