This week Nicola Sully was invited to represent Westgate Chambers at ULAWs Civil and Family Interview Advice Event.
The University of Law’s Employability Service has been set up to advertise available legal positions and provide mentoring opportunities for aspiring lawyers. It also offers guidance as to how best to successfully obtain positions in law firms and barristers’ chambers.
This guidance comes direct from the lawyers ULAW invites in to give talks to the students. Nicola’s talk this week covered advocacy exercises, competency-based questions, debate questions, ethics questions and general questions.
The talk at the Civil and Family Interview Advice Event was recorded and can be viewed via the University of Law’s Employability Portal.
